The Australian Swim Schools Association (ASSA) is proud to officially launch BOSS – the Business of Swim Schools, a bold new leadership and community initiative aimed at uniting and empowering swim school professionals across Australia and beyond.

The Australian Swim Schools Association (ASSA) is proud to officially launch BOSS – the Business of Swim Schools, a bold new leadership and community initiative aimed at uniting and empowering swim school professionals across Australia and beyond.

Building on recent momentum from Swimposium events held across the country, the BOSS program has already seen early engagement from industry professionals through the BOSS W events held earlier in 2025.

Now, with the national launch, ASSA is inviting swim school owners, managers, emerging leaders, and advocates to find their place within this fast-growing initiative.

“Everyone in our industry is passionate about something in particular,” says ASSA CEO Luke Daly.
“BOSS is about creating space for people to turn that passion into purpose, whatever their role, location, or experience level. It’s a place to belong, and a way to make a real difference in our communities”.

BOSS is a leadership initiative underpinned by a flexible, collaborative framework that enables cross-sector partnerships while maintaining the independence of other associations and businesses.
