Located approximately 7 km from Brisbane CBD, in the leafy suburb of Morningside, Hampton Swim School is a permanent establishment, catering for hundreds of students per week, our workplace is a vibrant and energetic atmosphere, and our philosophy is NURTURE ACHIEVE and CELEBRATE with our swimmers. Our program is all about FUN, FITNESS and RECREATION, with a little friendly competition.
An exciting new opportunity now exists for an experienced and qualified coach to take the lead of our squad program TEAM ACCELERATE. We are seeking enthusiastic mature applicants for this role, and have a year round long term position in our heated facility available for a committed and dedicated candidate.
TEAM ACCELERATE is the swim squad program designed to keep kids swimming after learn to swim because swimming is FUN. They may swim for the FUN only, or for the FITNESS to compliment their other sport or they may swim to be FAST and win races! Our program welcomes and caters to all swimmers, whether they wish to compete or not, and requires a Coach who is:
* Prepared to set achievable enjoyable swim sets including fun skills and drills activities based sets combined with endurance based lap sets, developing a reusable program along the way.
* Able and willing to work with our young squad swimmers who range in age mostly from 6 – 12 years.
* A positive reinforcement based leader who comes with personality plus, as much about the fun as you are about swimming technique, and with a relationship building approach.

Swim Instructor- John Wallace Swim School
Are you interested in building a child’s confidence and water safety skills for life? Do you enjoy working in a supportive yet challenging workplace? The John Wallace Swim School is currently looking for Learn to Swim Instructors passionate about introducing water safety skills and developing a child’s love of learning to swim for life!
John Wallace opened the John Wallace Swim School in 1977 and sets the benchmark in Aquatic Education with its quality innovative programs. The program is reinforced by a long standing team of Learn to Swim professionals with on-going training and development with both Gold Level Commonwealth and Olympic coaches.
The position may involve teaching Infants up to and including stroke correction. Hours may vary and are dependent upon the applicants qualifications and ability.

QUALIFIED LEARN TO SWIM TEACHER Required
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Learn to Swim Teacher to join our team. Located in Burpengary; our indoor, family-friendly swim school is seeking a trained professional on a casual basis primarily for afternoon shifts and relief work.
Our swim school has a great reputation with lots of word of mouth referrals. We have small classes, our own learn to swim program and are proud of our friendly environment.
We operate on a term by term basis and have consistent casual afternoon shift hours available for each term. We are a small team and want a passionate and reliable staff member who has a positive attitude to working with children. Experience with teaching children of all ages and levels is essential, in particular stroke development in all 4 strokes.
Applicants must possess the following:
– current Learn to Swim teacher qualifications (baby and infant qualification would be great too but not essential)
– current first aid/CPR and blue card
– experience with teaching all levels stroke development through to squad
– a positive, friendly attitude
– ability to work afternoons.

AquaBuddies is a private swim school that offers lessons at a small heated indoor pool in North Bondi. We provide learn to swim lessons for children aged 3 – 10 years of age.
We are looking for Qualified Instructors with at least 2-3 yrs experience that love working with children and have plenty of energy & enthusiasm! Ideally you can work across more than one term with a view to become a supervisor within the team.
