Carlile Swimming is renowned for its world leading swim school programs and operating systems. We operate eight swim centres with programs for learn to swim through to elite competitive squads. We firmly believe that ‘to swim well is an asset for life’.
You will be responsible for leading our Norwest swim school team, maintaining the quality and consistency standards of the Carlile swimming program, ensuring the provision of excellent customer experience. Supporting you will be four full time and approximately sixty casual and part-time staff, operating across a 7-day per week operation.
The manager’s role is a combination of day-to-day hands-on involvement in delivering the program (teaching, coaching and supervising) plus the planning, organising and administration of the people and pool.
You will be a proven team leader, ideally within the swim school industry, have excellent communication abilities, strong planning, and organisation skills and most of all, you are capable of living the Carlile Swimming values.
You will play an integral role in customer acquisition and retention, program efficiency and budgeting, staff recruitment and training at our Norwest facility. You will have support from the Carlile Swimming head office, assisting you with a comprehensive world renowned set of processes and systems in all aspects of the swim school operation. In addition a Business Performance Manager, Manager of Operations, Manager of Curriculum and Program (combining over 60 years of swim school experience) support you and your team.
This role is dynamic in nature, being best suited for an ambitious person who wishes to work with the swim school industry leading organisation.

AquaBuddies is a private swim school that offers lessons at a small heated indoor pool in North Bondi. We provide learn to swim lessons for children aged 3 – 10 years of age.
We are looking for Qualified Instructors with at least 2-3 yrs experience that love working with children and have plenty of energy & enthusiasm! Ideally you can work across more than one term with a view to become a supervisor within the team.
During school term we operate Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons as well as Sunday mornings. We also run a school holiday intensives program.

Teachers are expected to have a sound knowledge of swimming skills and will be required to teach our program with enthusiasm and good class organisation, offering correction and encouragement to students at all times.
